The Department of Vascular, Endovascular, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery handles arterial and venous disease, minimally invasive endovascular procedures and reconstructive surgery, supported by the center’s on-site angiography.

As one of the founding surgical specialties of the institution (operating in the tradition of the K. Eristavi institute since 1946), the department combines open vascular surgery with modern catheter-based techniques.
