Mtkvarze, meaning “on the Mtkvari,” occupies a distinctive 1950s building in Tbilisi that was once a fish restaurant and now operates as a club, bar and restaurant overlooking the river. Opened in 2012, it is a performance venue for non-commercial electronic music, mainly techno and house, with two rooms and panoramic river views. Combining dining and drinks with a dedicated dance-floor program, it offers a riverside alternative within the city’s nightlife and electronic-music scene.
