About

Baia’s Wine is a family-run winery and dining destination in the village of Meore Obcha, about twenty minutes’ drive from Kutaisi in the Imereti region. Run by young winemaker Baia Abuladze and her family, it offers home-cooked Imeretian meals paired with organic amber qvevri wines, alongside vineyard tours and tastings. A flagship of western Georgia’s alternative wine route, it has helped draw attention to natural, traditionally made qvevri wine and to women in Georgian winemaking. The combination of estate hospitality, seasonal cooking and cellar visits appeals to wine travelers and curious visitors alike.
